Because when you bring up skydivers you try to lose as little time as you can in the air to descend as you firstly save money with each minute you save, approx $15 a minute here for a PC-6, secondly because the next guys are waiting to go up again, and thirdly. The plane can and it's perfectly standard flying style with it! It's surprising the first time, but if you see a PC-6 turning from downwind to final without a real base leg, at 30m AGL, 60° bank, -30° pitch it's normal!

Can anyone tell me why he did that sort of approach? Not to be mean but I'm a real pilot, fresh license though, please give me technical explanation.

Wow what a descent. Excellent job to the pilot and videographer that takes alot of skill.

Really stunning descent, seen such things only by skydiver pilots or cargo pilots!
