I work at ORD. That smoke is the airport fire department training for aircraft fires and things like that. Common sight at ORD.

Very nice video but why was there an aircraft on the middle of the runway? That's why the plane turned left almost immediatly after landing. There something called Cleared to land! Lol, very nice video, entertaining.

Good video...the smoke is just a house fire, and devin .... in Salt Lake City they are burning the weeds so that there are a less chance of a fire, I know this because my dad works for Salt Lake County.

Pretty good video. Would have liked to see straight out the window instead of straight down when over the airport on final, but it was still really good. That smoke looks like it is just a fire drill. I'm not sure if its on the airport property or not, but here at SLC they do those fire drills with the airport fire department all the time and thats what it looks like.
