Does anyone know how long a Flight Officer in the Marines is required to serve?

8 1/2 years I believe. I just signed a flight contract with the marines so I am have a spot in flight school when i finish college. My contract was for 8 years as a pilot, but I believe the NFO has the same length. Not 100% positive though.

For pilots in the Navy and Marine Corps, you must serve at least 8 years active duty from the date you get your wings. This means that it is closer to 10 years of active duty service after you get out of college with about 2 years of flight training. (API, Primary, ect.)

If they're like the other services then you probaly have to serve in the reserves after you get out, making it more like 10-15 years total
