Yup, there's a similar topic on this, however I do not wish to be accused of being a grave digger;
When I joined FL350, the quality of my posts were alarmingly poor, and immature. My opinions got the better of me in those days. I have to say, as times gone by, I do feel the quality, and content of my posts have dramatically increased. Let's see how this topic goes... is my theory correct? does time and age affect the quality of your posts?. lets see, tell your story.

You'll look back in a few years and say the same thing. I suppose i've just lightened up loads. I'm a softy compared with two years ago. Mac and Bern can vouch for me on that one.

I can't actually say I've seen Callum how he was "back then", I wasn't here in the early days. I can however tell you this for a fact; he was always sharp as a freshly ground machete, a lot has changed, but he still is damned sharp. I can vouch for him on that one

Iam not sure if iam wiser or less wiser than i was when i joined in March 2005, probably less wiser in my opinion because, well you know the rest.
I do know how to respect people who moderate a site so good as this one more now than i used to and i have to admit i miss the old chat room before this site moved to IPB.
people do mature as they get older but this isnt always the case, i have been bad and keep on falling which isnt good, i dont dare to blame my disability because thats wrong, i just have to try harder to learn that life isnt always what i want it to be.

I used to be immature and reckless.I stopped it(because of the warn) and then Andre;that is your name?(McChord) pMed me to tell me i was controlling myself and so forth removed my warning. Also i have removed the habit of leaving line brakes on my posts and brought in the habit of using spellcheck, I believe my post quality and punctuation has improved as well.
It would be nice to see if anyone agrees with me.

You know what they say,
The older you are, the wiser you are. I'd say your theory is true.

You hit the nail on the head there concorde001.It is a very rare person who does not get smarter and wiser as he gets older.
Can anyone tell me the difference in intelligence and wisdom?

Well I just think that it has been such a valuable learning experience being on here, and I try to make sure that my posts are as interesting as I can make them. I never ever spam, by just putting one word or an emotion , but I notice that some folk who have been on this site for a while do it occassionally, if they can get away with it that is

The spell checker is not used sometimes, and I try and punctuate the posts as much as time will allow..but yes the calibre of posts are improving, with a bit of guidance here and there.
A bit of respect goes a long way and I know I have said this before..if you give out respect you get respect back .

but i don't know...
i sometimes spam... thats because i only have one sentence to say... and will not feel good if i don't say it lol...
but yeah... i think i have matured.. what do you guys think?

You are more mature than me anyway, iam ashamed of myself, nearly all of you are younger than me yet i act the fool, i just got to get over my problem and try to be more mature.
PM me to discuss my problem because i dont want to post it on a public forum because thats inappropiate, or chat on msn.

What do you mean by ''problem''? A problem in which you can't control your posting attitude or an actual 'problem'?

I can tell you that being around FL350 did help me somewhat. If you look at some of my former topics, I am flat out ashamed that I even started them. I guess I learned from the other members, and from my schooling. The funny thing now, is that when someone speaks in bubonics* on MSN, It really irks me. I guess being a member here does have a slight affect. Let's hope that members continue to "smarten up."

Yer, tis lyk I hav a few frends at skool who r lyk rly quite well spoken, or speak English gd, but on MSN dey all speak lyk dat. It makes me

because I usually type in proper, or at least nearly proper English, for a majority of the time. It does, however, make me feel weird when I compare the cool person's 'Yo wot u doing? R U Ok?' to my 'Yes, I'm fine thanks. What about you?'. That said, I sometimes use U instead of you and R instead of are, and thats fine when I'm talking to someone who uses Bubonics, but when I spoke to someone from this forum over MSN, I dont think they ever used Bubonics, so I felt werid lol

Cheers,
