does anyone have any knowledge about this? on several occasions, i have seen fighter jets fly out of Brunswick Naval Air Station, Maine. i know that they are a P3 and C130 base and on one occasion i was near the Brunswick Naval Air Station and i saw 2 F/A-18 Hornets taking off RWY 1 Right. also, on a seperate occasions, i have seen (i believe) a KC-135 and a C-5 flying right in the vicinity of the base, looking like they were taking off or landing. any knowledge about this would really help. thanks

Fuel is cheaper at uncle sams airfields. Civilian charge entirely too much.

I live near Brunswick NAS, its pretty quiet. If your in Brunswick, there is a great resturant near Bowdoin called Bombay Mahal!
In fact, as far as aviation in Maine.. its pretty uneventful! Especially Bangor.. you might get a turbo prop every two hours.
