This is great i just flew from Dubai to jeddah as pilot in control in the left seat i was flying with 4 in the cockpit a moderator flight officer and a commander who said i did excellent! :D
This was a test to see how i will do on the A340-500 and they said i was captain material for the -300 and they said in 1 week i will meet a captains board and i will be evaluated on my personality, flying ability, and concentration if i pass which i think i will i will be the youngest A340 capt for emirates at age 28 :lol:
I cant believe it i thlought i was going to be a direct entry FF\O but nkow a captain this is crazy have any of you other pilots experienced anything like this?

The closest I've had to your experience was my 17 hours in the left seat during 727 sim training at United.

Yeah I couldn't agree more, when my check-airman on my check flt from SYD-TPE told me I can be a captain on the B767 at the age of 34.5, I was both thrilled and a little bit anxious.

Hello all! I had that expireence when Fed-Ex said i was being moved from a A310(in the old days :D ) to the right seat of a MD-11. now I have been in the left seat for 2 years!!!!!!! :D
