im just wanted to tell everyone that lives around the area or in florida that this weekend embry riddle is hosting an airshow... skyfest 05 @ daytona international ... tons of planes will be there and aswell today a couple of A 10s arrived when i was doing a run up flow totally amazing i didnt know they were that big.. also a truck with a rocket engine that is goin to speed the runway at full blast... matt chapman will be there too and many more... so pass by...

Wish I was there! You'll just love that jet truck. Had one here a couple of times at our semi-annual airshow. What it does is accelerate to about 300 MPH while "racing" an already airborne plane, such as an Extra. I forget the engines it used, but I "think" it was powered by three J-34's with afterburner. After each run, the "truck" needed to be cleaned of the bugs it smashed.

Really cool. Any headliners such as the Blue Angels or Thunderbirds?

I bet that airshow in Daytona Beach is a hell lot better than the wimpy one ERAU Prescott does in October, lol. The biggest attractions there were a B-17 and Lockheed Constellation "connie".
