I'm not sue if this is a repeat post (but if it is plz don't murder me). When will the boeing 787 actually fly??

Actually, I think the first flight is scheduled for 2007.

Yeah, the first flight is expected to be in 2007. In 2006 they will begin with the production of the "787", and it will be delivered in 2008 to the different airline. By the way, does anyone know, who will be the "First to fly"

I believe the first airline to fly it will be ANA (All Nippon Airways). It's something I heard from co workers not sure if it's true or not.

If the first delivery is 2008 then the flight testing should start in 2007. It takes about 9-12 months to run a full flight test program on an all new model.
