Bokito
My friend Captain Erwin is making his last flights before retirement.

Last days,08-05 and 11-05 I did videograph him with departure and landing at Amsterdam Airport. The flight was AMS-CTU-AMS.

Quote Erwin (Capt.)

I took the take-off at Amsterdam and the landing in Chengdu.

The co-pilot had the return flight as Pilot Flying and should have made the landing in Amsterdam. However knowing "Bokito" would try to make a film, he gave me the honour.

At first the landing was planned on RW36R , later RW27 and eventually we got a D-ATIS message stating RW18R or 18C.

One hour before landing we contacted SPL app and made a deal about the Runway.

With a Satcom telephone to Ralph’s mobile we were able to direct him to 18C.

Landing conditions: 270/14, Cavok, 18°C. Landing Flaps 25, and Idle Reverse after landing due Noise Abatement regulations at SPL.

Thanks Ralph.

Erwin (Cpt)

It's very special for me to follow and videograph my friend. The video's will show Erwin's endless passion for flying.

Thanx! Captain Erwin experience a very very wonderful time. It look likes a world tour.

And with his dear people around him in the last flights.

Normally it feels like pass away,he told me.

But what happens everywhere he comes is'nt to describe. How wonderful.

And I'm a part of it by videographing his takeoff's and landings at Amsterdam Airport.

When you see this captain flying you can feel his enormous passion.

When you see this reclam of the KLM you will know what I mean.
