Both very good videos, but I especially enjoyed the MSY arrival!

Good videos indeed.

Only thing that woulda made it better woulda been a non-reduced-thrust takeoff on the 75'. But what can ya do lol.

A big AMEN to that! Would have liked to hear those fans in full form.

The flight was surprisingly empty, I would say at most 55 passengers.

Nice videos, I really enjoyed them! You got two really great aircraft to fly on. Watching that MD-88 taking off from Atlanta was like deja vu! When I flew out of there in an MD-80 we took off parallel to a 767 too! Such a great sight.

I really enjoyed the md-88 flight, mostly because im a saints fan! But in all honesty that was my first time at KATL, and it was pretty overwhelming. It's so large and infested with delta! But I really love to fly on those mad dogs!

Yep, those MD-80's and 717's are definitely some of my favourite aircraft! I much prefer them over an A320 or 737 any day.

I have never flown on a 717, but just the other day I was standing walking around MSY and Air Tran 717 flew right over my head at about 100 feet or so. I was perplexed as well as amazed at how very quiet it was. I dont believe I have ever heard a jet so quiet on landing. Very interesting and a good experience. But when the mad dogs fly over, its a concert.
