Thanks for posting this very interesting link Galaxy. I just wonder why he even attempted to land the plane as there was clearly no way he was going to be able to stop before hitting the water. I would have loved to have been a fly on the wall when he had to explain himself.

Me too. But there's really no other explanation other than, "I really f***** up...".

At least it appeared that an ego was the only casualty....

On the other hand let's give a big round of applause to the ARFF team, the crash happens at 30 sec. in the video, and I hear the truck rolling at 1m10sec. A 40 sec. response time at such a small strip is outstanding.
