Guys please!!!

If the new system here is to delete stuff from x weeks ago, then any new person is going to catch a relatively VOID and empty forum. Do you get my drift?

Some time ago, when you posted, you could pick up topics from way back when Long John Silver had 2 legs and an egg on his shoulder - i.e., a long time ago - indeed, you could very well find yourself answering posts from three years back. More importantly is the fact that the Forums where fat and chock full of posts - so it is an immediate interesting target rich environment - now, with stuff getting regualry deleted its like living with a woman who Spring cleans - every day.
(actually thats a nice thought, you should see the state of my mansion!. [yea, right]

Does anyone else share my view that this clinicalisation of the pages make it look all sold out and bare or, "shop just open, will be up for business shortly"

If there are too few posts, people will think it is a graveyard.

Kilrah is correct. We do not delete posts. Simply adjust the display time from "From: 30 days" to "Show All" and you will be able to view all posts from the past.

Oh good, while you're there, I agree that it would look better if this was done by default - maybe you could change that in the forum settings?

I too would favour the default setting being set back to "Show all" instead of seing an empty graveyard, that it unfortunately is at the time. Now I don't think that that leaves a good impression for visitors either.

Funny how it used to be like that because we were overflowing with posts.

Yeah... I noticed mysterious dissapearences in that suggestions topic. I guess we shouldn't bother giving any then.

In all fairness to Support, that topic was created in the Announcement Forum to bring attention to the direct feedback link that is often missed, and in all honesty, should have been locked from the get-go.

It could be that I'm blind or that I have hallucinations,but all pinned topics( a lot) off the civil aviation forum are deleted.I don't care if they are deleted intentional or by mistake,but i never had an answer on that question.
