Passengers and airline pilots have given YVR top marks in two surveys.
YVR was listed as the top airport in North America and No. 8 in the world in a survey of international passengers conducted by U.K.-based Skytrax. YVR is the only North American airport in the global top 10. The survey, carried out between August 2006 and July 2007, is based on more than 7.8 million detailed passenger surveys covering more than 170 airports. It measures some 40 categories of product and service quality.
The Air Line Pilots Association (ALPA) has named YVR the top airport for 2007 for our efforts in communicating openly with the pilot community, for our many pilot-focused initiatives, and for numerous security and operational procedures that make pilots' experience at YVR as safe and efficient as possible.

8th best airport in the world as ranked by passengers and #1 ranked by pilots. Not too shabby for my home airport.
Does anyone have experiences to share about YVR either as a passenger or pilot?
