Hello, everybody. I just wanted to let all you VATSIMMERS know that FZAA is a new and growing airspace. It was started by Tony Kovacs also known as FZZA_CTR about 8 months ago. He started this ARTCC because he was in the UN and controlled at Kinshasa. He started the ARTCC by himself, and has since added 6 new controllers including myself. Just during those 8 months, we have trained a CTR, 2 APPs, 3 TWRs, a GND, and a DEL. We have since added a new VOICE ATIS!! This adds so much more realism to VATSIM. So, with all this info I would like to cordially invite you all to fly at FZAA. It has a 15,000 ft. runway and plenty of parking space, and ILS of course. What gave you the inspiration to control in Congo?
Don't think I'll be flying there too often, I might check it out.

the reason why I like controlling in the Congo mis because it's a good place to learn the ropes of flying on vatsim, or flying in general. You see, there is not that many terrain obstacles or busy trafiic, so we allow pretty much any requests. The airspace just seems like a nice and relaxed area.
