On a P-3, we have a fire of unknown origin checklist we run should someone smell an electrical fire, or if we get a rackoverheat light. Had a few myself but have never noticed one on a commercial flight. Are there similar procedures??? Thanks for answers FE
We don't have smoke removal procedures either, but we sure have checklists for overheats, bleed air leaks, and electrical anomolies...to include an unknown origin diagnostic list. It's not just about smoke...
...at least not for us...
