IMHO not a bad decision. It looked far too close to Airbus and Boeing products. They say they may instead invest with Sukhoi into the RRJ project. Much more sensible, as they can maybe rebrand the RRJ as a Bombardier product and remarket it to their customers. Opinions?

i don't think thats an option, especially when Boeing has as much involvment as BBD would be getting, if anything, and especially with them being on board first, it would be marketed in the west as a Boeing product (although I think neither would ever happen)

Well that really does not shock me, but it would be nice to see another plane in the 100-150seat category. I'm sick and tired of seeing the orders going to just one or the other.
