First may I say hi to everyone (I'm new) I'd like to see ATC give airspeed instructions to all AI Aircraft and users (this would be extremely useful on approach) Also, when it's raining aircraft should blow up spray off the runway. and the main thing........microsoft should bring back parallel runway usage (like in FS2002) where AI could cross a runway to takeoff on another, it's extremely difficult in FS2004 (messed with AFCAD for hours on end) ATC won't take any notice. :D

QUOTE(flight boffin @ Jan 21 2005, 11:03 AM) If this is all going to happen i think we will have to buy some new graphic cards. Many people overlook that Microsoft has always created an inefficient graphics engine for all of its Flight Simulator titles. If they create an engine with intructions that utilize the potential of top of the line video cards, I guarantee you will see a great improvement in mesh, scenery, water, etc. Take Far Cry for instance.

this may have been already pointed out, but I'd like to see realistic looking scenery, not a satellite snap shot of the earth and then buildings, trees, and roads added in, I'd like it to be all just models and textures, also I'd really love to see moving objects on the grounds, ex. cars on the freeways, pedestrians in downtown, and more details to the airport, like where you can get out of your plane and go for a walk around the terminal and or nearby town.
LOL prob take a jumbo computer for that, but it would be neat as crap. :D

i agree that there should be more ground support features. like, in order to gas up, you gotta go to the pump, ya know what i mean? "as real as it gets" means that. you cant just fuel up a 747 in midair. but, wait a minute. wouldnt it be cool if fs contains tankers, where you can mate up in midair and refuel? that would be the bomb. also, more realistic sceneries would be a plus, though i recently looked back at my old cd's, and saw fs for win 98. popped it in, and man, it was horrible! they sure did come a long way. wat about the concorde? they should bring it back. it would be the bomb. also, does anyone know if you can actually use ground support vehicles in fs04? i'd be dying to know how.

I would like to see a few things in a newer flight simulator, such as emergency landings and more randomized failures. I would also like to see ATC warn you about restricted airspace.

QUOTE(rjb4000 @ Jan 21 2005, 12:56 PM) lol thats pretty funny..
what i want is the ATC to be correct... they should concentrate only on ATC for 2 years and really perfect it and then we could actually learn somthing from fs rather than bs'ing around Hit the nail on the head. The big step should be ATC. I would appreciate more realistic ATC chatter with a greater number of options. As far as the rest of the stuff I´m reading everything is more or less represented in commercial addons. Ultimate Traffic works wonderfully for me. I don´t see why some of you are having trouble with it. And yes the more we ask of FS the more demanding the hardware requirements will be.
