QUOTE(I Fly Planes) I quite disagree with you there flight boffin, you said out football team is useless. I think our football team is quite good and if the manager is a turnip, why would he be leading them in the first place then?
ps I'm new here and if i do anything wrong please tell me so that i can correct it, thanks.
then why do they never win us anything? if they are 'so good' why do we never win a world cup?

I didn't say they were the best, but they're pretty damn good. In my opinion anyway

Ok, 30000ft. I am an Aussie too, and a damn proud one. Sure, England beat us fair and square. Congrats to them, they deserve it.
But, you are acting very un-Australian. Instead of taking out your anger on members, and Ricky Ponting maybe you should think about the rubbish you are talking about. You are acting so childish, its the nature of Aussies to be mates and to be friendly. At the end of the day, us Australians respect England as a nation and as a cricket team. I am pretty sure they feel the same way about us. Give it a rest man, your not fooling anyone, your knowledge in cricket isn't enough up to scratch to make such biggonist comments.
karlhurst_380. I've noticed you've been getting yourself into a few arguments lately, you should stop before you get yourself kicked off the forum. I admit, some of the things said here are stupid, I have some fairly aggressive things I could say, but I don't. Why? Because instead of arguing, isn't it better to sit down and talk to your FL350 mates about aviation?

:D I have just returned from a World Championship Stock Car Race meeting at Northampton....it was not a Scot who won (although he did take third place. an Englishman took second and a dutchman won the World Cup..i will not bore you will the details as i don't think anyone here was at that meeting but the point i would like to make is that all the drivers got a cheer and clapped..from everyone whether they were Irish, Scottish,English....that is how sport should be... At the end of the day it is just a sport. and i know that people take cricket and football very seriously. but why bad mouth folk ? we are supposed to be a civilised society and surely no matter who wins the proper way to act is to congratulate them no matter which country they come from .. or am i being niave
