Hey there,
I don't consider ma as a spotter but as an aircraft enthusiast. Me and a couple of friends study aeronautical technics and so we just had to go to that historic event.
And what can I say - I'm speechless. The engineruns are sooo quiet, although they only had them on 85% thrust. By the time the plane reached the third taxiway it already took of. Let it be 1500meters till take off. Beautiful weather and even more beautiful plane. Those wings are a masterpiece of engineers art.
We just got some of our pictures developed and I'm so anxious to see them. I'll try to get our video online by next week.
All in all it was worth the sunburn, the long trip and the very spontaneous decision! Good work Airbus!

Hi there,

...no, I didn't put it online yet. If there's some spare time tomorrow, I'll start with cutting, so maybe...
There's a little flyby video over Toulouse from "Christophe Labat " though on this site. Nice view for the people living there.

I just got news from the photo-shop... It takes them five days icon_eek.gif to develop the pictures!!! That means two more days of waiting for me :cry:
Oh well, guess we'll all have to wait.

@velocityflier16:
Oklahoma is a bit far, thats true. For us it was "only" a ten hours drive and three days of vacation in south-France.
We're gonna be even though when the 787 hits the sky...

A380 takeoff online!
I finally managed to get the videos uploaded. Its cut in three pieces though because of the size. I hate to render down the quality too much.
I had a really good time in France so I hope you guys will get that chance by seeing the videos here.
Sorry for the bit shaky recordings. Always have a working tripod with you and no one climbing on the car while you standing on it filming icon_mad.gif .

By the way, did anyone else go to Blagnac and take some pictures seeing the A380 from the other side of the Runway? I'd like to have a nice picture with the plane and our spot in the Backround.

This site has many videos, from the take-off to the landing, well, you know what I mean. http://www.airbus.com/A380/seeing/indexminisite.aspx . Go to the site and click Videos.
