Nice cockpit overall, but seriously-I've seen that in so many cockpit photos; wouldn't leather be more comfortable? I'd think you'd sweat a lot during a flight sitting on that for hours on end!

That "shag" is, in fact, sheepskin. As Tri wrote, it works very well. If you're going to be sitting in that seat for hours at a time nothing else works as well to keep you comfortable.
