Upload Problems Options

Can anyone help...?

Lately I've had trouble uploading my videoclips.

I normally log into my account & then go to the upload videos section as I usually only have 1 or 2 videos to upload at any time.

I can get the upload page up no problem (although it does say "error on page" at the bottom left of the screen).

What I can't do, is select the aircraft/airline/date any more. I click them but nothing happens. I have refreshed the page but that doesn't help.

I've also tried this from 2 different pc's.

Does anyone have any ideas?

I tried an upload and the only problem I faced was choosing the date. Can't say for sure but seems the interface has changed. Figured it out though through some experimentation. Didn't have any trouble with choosing an aircraft, airline, etc.

Colin, I know you are an old pro at this as I watch your videos regularly, so there must be something going on. Any other clues you can provide? At home or the office? Connectivity? Firewall? Vista / Windows 7 / IE 8 with enhanced security, etc?

For what its worth, at the office, I can't even WATCH any videos from here, much less upload them, no matter the platform....

One GPO can make the point moot.

Still, I have to assume you are uploading the way you are used to, which is probably from home. So were the two PC's you used on the same home network? Work? Or from two different environments? And were they comparable machines regarding OS levels, etc.?

I've just tried to upload again using my usual way & after a refresh on the page, it now appears to be working.

I've found that it is hit & miss these days. I don't think I'm doing anything different from what I normally do.

I'm currently at work uploading & have done so in the past. I've also uploaded from home. But I've suffered the problem before. Both pc's have the same OS. Nothing has changed since this problem has started.

When this problem occures it is only when I'm trying to select the airplane, airline, place & date. I click on them & nothing happens. Sometimes when I refresh the page I am able to rectify the problem but sometimes not.

Whilst typing this I have just got another video to upload.
I'll keep you informed if I have any more problems in the future. Perhaps I'm trying to upload at a peak time or something?!
