I don't know why but for some reason I cannot turn my plane on the ground anymore (even though it flies fine). Why is this? It occurs with every single aircraft including all doenloads/add-ons, yet it suddenly happened - I haven't changed anything on FS. I noticed it yesterday, I restarted the computer and it still did it. Today it happened again, and it really spoils the fun of flying as you cant taxi to/from the gates and runways. I was really stressed and puzzled at the same time with this.

Any suggestions? Has it happened to you before?

Check the controls options. In real life, you use the rudder pedals/tiller to taxi an airplane, the default in fs is to use aileron inputs (as most people would taxi using a joystick). I have pedals attached to my PC, and I taxi using them, so there must be an option somewhere to taxi using aileron or rudder inputs. Go searching (may also be in realism options).

That's not good Aspiring. Hopefully you get it fixed. I actually had this problem with the default FS2004 777 and could never work out why it happened. Have you downloaded any planes recently? Maybe they have stuffed up the coding or something. I know my sim has crashed and done all sorts of weird things after downloading a plane.

Thanks guys. I will check my settings again as I did make some adjustments in general. I will let you know if things are OK.

After looking through my settings for the controls etc, i found no option to change this, but I did find out the "new way" for me to taxi, and it means I can perform the flight surface checks on the ground without the plane rolling off the taxiway.

Its through using the keyboard... when num lock is turned off, you can use "0" to turn the plane left on the ground, and enter to turn right, however 0 does not work if num lock is on.
