Hey there,

I searched a few places and not really come up with a good answer or one that I understand...

Airways that state more than one number V287-485-500 on one airway

what do you call that airway, and why are there other numbers attached to it, how would you file it? with which number

regards.

Victor airways with a compound number are where that segment of the route is common to other airways. When filing a flight plan you simply identify the airway you plan to use.

As Lear said, in the FP you file the route you are flying, if airways V-287,-485,-500 are all together, you file the route you will fly further. As for the name, well, the name is those 3 all together, you may report them as you like.
