LOL ! !

Welcome to fl350 Jeroen. That is some collection of flightdecks. Thanks for sharing them, and hope to see you here often.

Wow, nice collection you got there! I love the 747 one (2nd down), can't wait until i'm sat in the right seat of that a/c. You have found a nice set of pics there, i will hopefully be very familiar with the majourity of those cockpits. Did you take any of them? Just curious.

Regards,

I think I'll busy myself looking at those for the next couple of days...

Very good photos!

I'll add this one to your collection. It's a BE10 (Straight) that I used to fly. 605 hours to be specific.

If you want to see it from the outside still sporting the paint scheme I designed myself, look here:

Here's your's truly in the front seat just after getting off an airliner from Brazil (long story)...

Scroll down below any one of those photos and you'll see the photographer's name, Jeroen Stroes, our own js51672, or it might be his brother, Joop.

Why, he already has them all on jetphotos.net which is just as good, if not better.
Their group, Dutch Aviation Photography, has over 6,100 pictures on jetphotos.net. Quite an accomplishment.

I'll take a wild guess. The pilot flying says: "Установите тягу" and as if by magic somebody has set the power. It' a bit like auto-throtte, only better as the Бортинженер can anticipate what you want.

PM maybe exactly right as to why the throttles are in that location, but he does have a way of making the explanation just plain fun.

ROFLMAO ! !

Of course PM knows

Установите тягу = You will establish Thrust

Бортинженер = Flight engineer

How do you manage to sit in the jumpseat on these flights? I thought it was forbidden. Let me ask you something; my uncle has been a Southwest employee for years, do you think if I can get his cleareance and to talk to the pilot, is there a chance I might get to ride in the jumpseat?!?!

All though there might be a very slim chance... I doubt it. Ive tried for a few years, my mom is a F/A for American and its never worked out. Ive only got to sit in the captains seat before of after the flight witch is cool anyways and enough for me. They usually just laugh when you ask them. I did get to do a walk around in Anchorage last year which is strongly prohibited I hear. Good luck tho, give it a try icon_thumright.gif
