Friend of mine and wife went to hawaii on 757 he said there was a noise from takeoff to cruse alt Just wondering If there is a extra fuelpump used during that time of the flight.

Too many noises on a B757 from takeoff to cruise alt. to identify it...More details please

There is usually this low, rumbling noise...those are the engines...
Sometimes there are high-pitched, whirring noises...could freaking be anything...
You often hear this garbled chitter...that's the passenger next to you who won't shut up...
I can usually hear a whining noise...that's the captain as he's thinking about his depleted, concessionary paycheck...
Then there's this sucking noise...that's the airline industry...

Hope that clears it up...

i could tell u that the high-pitched noises are usually the electric hydraulic pumps and air condition packs working.
