I don't know if this counts but it has happened to me twice recently this year. As I sleep and my alarm goes off in the early morning I somehow reach up to stop the buzzer and turn of the alarm so it wont activate again. I had no idea I did that until I asked my roommate what exactly happened. After the second time I did that I had no choice, I had to buy another alarm clock, so far so good. LOL

my weird thing is, I usually wake up 5 seconds before my alarm goes off. its so strange. i wake up reaching for my alarm subconsciously knowing it will go off. icon_eek.gif and the other day my mum walked into my room while i was sleeping and according to her i was speaking in my sleep saying it is 9:37 and according to my mum it was 9:37am icon_eek.gif she thought i was playing a trick on her, but when she realized i was deep into sleep she was kind of freaked out. i got freaked out when she told me later that day. I guess I'm always thinking of the time.

I speak in my sleep... no one understands what i say though "mumble mumble".

My friend and me went on holiday a couple years back and he grinds his teeth in his sleep. icon_eek.gif That kept me awake quite a while.

Do you guys ever worry about what sort of incriminating things you might say in your sleep?

If I say incriminating things in my sleep, they are total fiction. I'm straight as a string.

HAHAHAHAHA! ! ! !

I count my breaths while sleeping. It keeps track of time for me. Every breath is five seconds, every 12 is a minute. 720 equals one hour, 5760 breaths equals eight hours.

I don't actually speak the numbers and don't count past 720. But I count groups of 720.

Wierd, I know, it's a Zen thing.

yeah i wake up 5 seconds before my alarm too! its pretty freaky. i can set my alarm at any time, say 6:47 and still somehow know exactly when its going to go off!

i grind my teeth as well when i'm really tired which is annoying for other people...

Well, I've done a lot of things in my sleep (although I don't think I have for a month or so - go me).
  • Talk in my sleep.
  • Shout in my sleep.
  • Argue in my sleep.
  • Sleep walk.
  • Set off the burglar alarm by walking downstairs into the living room whilst the alarm is on.
  • Make my parents think there's a burglar downstairs by whispering in my sleep.
It's all fun! I find setting of the burglar alarm quite funny.... although not for my parents who must have thought "What the hell!?!" icon_lol.gif The one I do most often is talk/argue/shout in my sleep (although not for a few months). I haven't sleep walked for a while.

Dan.

Well, this doesn't happen very often, but sometimes i speak, I never walk asleep and once I nearly broke my fist after I had some fight about to begin in my dream... just plunged my fist into the wall.

Oh! And one more thing I did [my brother told me about this later]... once I just shouted full YAK-40 take-off checklist out :D

Masturbating while asleep? What a waste!

Do you do that? Just wondering since you brought it up.

Chris.

I think we try to keep those things to ourselves out of respect for the others on this forum. lol
