As part of the e-coli scare currently raging around.

Sadly, I have a friend who has been Celebet for decades in order to avoid any STD diseases - unfortunately she has now contracted e-coli from a cucumber.

I am sorry to hear that Fast Jet. Just curious but where does your friend live at? So far about 30 people have died of e-coli (EHEC) in germany. Mostly elerly people and those with immun system weaknesses. It is believed that those who are effected will need a new kidney or are relying on dyalysis for the rest of their life.
This e-coli thing sure is strange. They still don't know for sure where it is coming from. Cucumbers and salads are declared credible again. Now tons of farmers have to declare insolvent due to no one buying their vegetables. It's crazy how powerfull media can be. As no one knows for sure where it comes from and only one box of cucumbers has been found with the e-coil bakteria it surely isn't the reason for all those infektions. I have to admit - call it stupid or not - I still eat them. And I have never bought them as cheap as now. The go for less than 0,20 Euro cents !! Hey, we had BSE we had the pig desease, the chicken virus thing and now vegetables. What will be left over to eat?! If you ask me this all has its beggining in mass production. If we go back to the roots, buy directly from the farmers and only pure biologically grown foods stuff as that would not happen.
Latest tests have shown that the e-coil virus was found in a sprout farm in the eastern part of germany. But still no one knows how they got ther in the first place.
