Why doesnt FL350 have a trip report forum? I think it would be excellent if they had a forum for people to post their trip reports with pics/vids.

But, if Trip-Reports are aviation related then why would you put them in an "Off-Topic" forum that has nothing to do with aviation?

A trip reports forum would be a good idea, have somewhere to keep them all together for people to read. I don't really think the Gallery and Blog is a good place considering people rarely use/view them.

My 2 cents/pennies/etc.

Dan.

I agree. If they are together in one place, then it would be easier to look at/share with all.

Okay, well it MIGHT be a good idea, but tell me this, how many trip reports have you seen posted? Do you think that the mere prescence of a "Trip reports" forum would encourage people to write them? Hell, it might....you never know. It might be a very active section, it may not.

I wouldnt imagine it would be very active. It would only ever get new topics when someone flies somewhere. And this is just me, but I hardly ever read anyone's trips reports anyway. Its nothing personal to anyone, but it doesnt affect me if the flight was 5 minutes late and the air hostess was cute? I'll still skim read them and have a look at some pics though. Hope I dont sound too arrogant lol

You dont. Think about it this way, half of the forums on this site were around much later than some of the others, look at the videographer and support forums. They hardly get used yet sometimes people post topics in places that dont deserve them. It wouldnt get used any more than anything else, unless something drastic changes and people start flying alot. And as C150 said, most of us dont care if your coffee was cold and you saw a contrail flying over BWI. Now if your personally flying or something and you feel its something interesting then by all means.
