Hi All

We're running a poll to find out the world's favourite airport approaches, and we'd love to know your expert opinions.

Last year our top 10 airport approaches included scenic and technically challenging approaches such as Sion (Switzerland), Barra (Scotland), Gibraltar, St Barts and Madeira.

Our shortlist for this year is now open for you to vote for your favourite airport approach:

Have we missed any scenic approaches?

Thanks for your help!

Alex

Hi All

This is your last call for cotes in your favourite airport approach poll:
http://www.privatefly.com/privatejet-servi...approaches.html

Our shortlisted airports have received lots of votes; but we've had some incredible suggestions for other stunning airport and airfield approaches.

Make sure your favourite approach makes it in the final list:

Thanks

"Favourite approach" depends on what's at the end. Hotel/resort, location, climate, women/men ratio, etc.

As for FLYING an approach my favorite is one successfully completed with nary a ripple in the passenger's drink glasses.

Hi All

We've counted all of the votes for your favourite airport approaches 2011, which included the rough with the smooth and many different destinations - Learguy ;-). The top 10 airport approaches are:

Did your favourite airport approach make it into the top 10?

Thanks again!

Alex

When I saw the topic title, the only word that initially came to mind was VISUAL. I have simply had my fill of low IFR within my realm of operation. Call it IFR fatigue. Misses, holds and alternates over the last two months has me considering taking some vacation time and booking an extended Caribbean cruise until spring.

To answer your question, Santos Dumont in Rio de Janairo for the Sugar Loaf visual..
