hello i was surfing the fs2004 website and found a package that has people that will be on your airplane during a flight so you wont be alone and it will have realistic crew sounds and sounds from people screaming when you do something thats not normal in a flight for example dip the airplane from 35,000 ft to 25,000 ft in about 2 minutes.

Are you talking about FSPassengers?

http://www.fspassengers.com/

I have FS Passengers, and it is a pretty cool program to have. It gives you a purpose to fly.

The annoucements aren't that realistic, thankfully there are alternatives on the fspax website.

Awesome though they are all recorded by an Australian icon_razz.gif!

The best thing I like/liked about the program was the report it gives you after landing, touchdown speed, errors etc..

I was once performing an emergency landing, and I had the 'sink rate' alarm, the 'pull up' alarm, and the copilot yelling 'We're gonna crash, we're gonna crash! I love you mum!'

I got the demo when guys on here said it was great, and I must agree. Its nice to see the passenger satisfaction at 100%, although it dropped rapidly and their fear went up when I performed a slide slip in a 737 to lose altitude and airspeed. It went from 100 to 0 in less than 4 seconds, and then they started screaming. Oh well, I now know that people dont like slide slips and 'uncomfortable' manouvers. They shouldnt jump into a small aircraft with my instructor then hehehe

Amen to that! Although it is a nice change from the boring american accents we hear. If you want to call it an accent! icon_rolleyes.gif

Anyways, I do love how they give you the landing Fpm, and various other things!

I've got the FsPassengers demo and I think I might buy the real thing, it's real frustrating to only be allowed to fly out of San Fran.

Cheers,
Ben.

I used to have the FSPassengers Demo, and yeah it got slightly annoying having to fly out of one airport all of the time, but nevertheless it seems like a good product. It gives you something to do on a flight and I was quite impressed by it, especially the report of your trip with all the specifics on it. I don't think I'll ever buy the full version though.

Dan.

Yea, I dont know why but it's really starting to annoy me! (No offense, Australia must be awesome)
Can you not download different accents anywhere?? It would just add to realism when flying in different parts of the world where such accents would never be heard (for example domestic US flights)
I just have the demo.

Of course it will, FSpassengers although in many ways is the first of its kind, Is not the only Cabin/Crew Software out there and I hate having US Accents 'Down Under' so I know the feeling ;).

Check at fspassengers.com There might be some to download, Remember bassically any US Recordings you have can be implemented.

Yes, FSPAX is a great program and also, you could record your own voice pack. Of course, it will take a bit of time, but trust me, once you get it done the way you want it, you can actually use it for real and not have to replace it until you think that it is getting annoying.

I have the copy of FSPAX and I believe the price was $30 USD. Not so sure if the price changed or not. I will check on it for you guys.

Actually, it depends. If you see the passenger satisfaction under 100%, it will be hard to get it back up. trust me, when I hit unexpected turbulance at cruise level with the seatbelt sign off, I can actually hear the pax gasp a bit. So I turned the seatbelt on and let my F/A's serve drinks and food to calm them down.

Something Funny: I was flying on an international route for FS a few times. And all of those times, I was using FSPAX. So the flight started as planned and on schedule, the gate, pushback followed by announcements, the taxi, then takeoff. I got to cruise level and turned the seatbelt sign off. Ok, so that is over with, six hours later, the Stewardess steps into the cockpit and says, "One passenger is a real bastard, he tried to touch me. I hope this flight will end soon."

Now that is something you don't get every time in FS.

I'm not buying it. I have been playing with FS Passengers forever, and I have never heard that. Have you installed any add-ons or voice packs?

Nope. It is because I use the same pilot and same crew for a long time. And to add to that, I make my international routes as long as possible. Definitely no other updates that I downloaded.

C:\Program Files\Microsoft Games\Flight Simulator 9\FsPassengers\Sound\CrewPack

That is the location where I could take a look at the sound packs or even create my own.
