Hi, my name is Nate. I just have a question about flying the Airbus. I have the computer game microsoft flight simulator and when i fly the airbus 321 i noticed that the joystick is on the side. I don't know how you could fly from the side. I'm just wondering how you do it? I've also noticed in Airlines that the Airbus is kind of taking over the Boeing. Is there a reason for that? Please let me know.

There are lots of aircraft with sidesticks. They are more comfortable to fly with but were not common until recent times because controls were manually powered. Therefore they had to have a fair degree of movement to have sufficient leverage. As a result, the only sensible place to put the control column was between your legs. The rest, as they say, is history.
