Nice pictures you all got there! That Westland Dragonfly HR.5 cockpit looks kind of spooky with those few instruments, but nice to see. Were was that taken at? It sadly doesn't look like it is still airworthy.

I ran across this today:
http://www.roanoke.com/wb/xp-201513Not really a picture, but a cool 360 degree image of the local hospital helicopter. I'm unsure of what type of a/c this is though.
Thats a Bell 412SP. The model originally derived from the Bell 212, just "slightly" more powerfull. MWE: 6,789 lb (3,079 kg)/ MTOW: 11,900 lb (5,397 kg). Its often used as a multirole transporter or heavy lifter. Nice and loud old chopper. The Bell 212 then again derived from the famous vietnam helicopter Bell UH-1D. The sound of this helicopter is still used for audio dubbing in a lot movies (too many) for any other model there is today. That flapping sound is unique.
Although I just found out that I hardly have any cockpit pictures I did manage to find at least some:
B206BIII - chasing a little UL, but unfortunately shot with my phone.
B206LIII - above Frankfurt/Germany
A109AII - sorry for the mess but it's just getting stripped for a maintenance check
...now what would I need those G1000 for? Ok, they are kind of neat (deep inside I would want one too), but I just love those old clockmaker's.
