New to the forums, so Im not sure if this video has been posted or not before, pretty cool video showing the durability of the f-15. Not a bad plane but since i'm going to be flying the f-18 i gotta be a little biased :D

Absolutely the most amazing thing I 've ever seen aviation wise.

I once saw a five ship formation of Eagles takeoff and go vertical from St. Louis Lambert Field. I was on final and was warned about wake turbulence by the tower and then saw them. They were out of sight in less than 30 seconds.

Fun stuff. I was transitioning over McChord AFB one day and a flight of 15s took off. The tower restricted them from going vertical until they were over the departure end threshold cause of the traffic (me). I was about 1,500' AGL crossing the middle of the runway and looked to my left and saw some going straight up no more then 4000' away. I wish TCM was still as active as it used to be.

That truly is amazing, that the aircraft was still able to fly after losing an entire wing. Better still is the fact that the pilot didn't just abandon his ship as per his training. He stuck it out and managed to do the impossible.

Amazing, just amazing. I wonder why the pilot didnt punch out after the collision. Anyways, great flyin! I guess, that aircraft flew after it got its new wing.
