I noticed that Airbus was trying to market the new A380 to low cost airlines, which suggests that it would be an economically favourable option, so why do low cost airlines use the smaller planes like the 737 and A320? Would the seat prices be lower if they operated a single A380 instead of multiple A320 aircraft, and if so why aren't they doing that?
Because its not just getting 800 passengers from A to B in one week but rather getting 200 one one day 200 on the next....etc. Its got to do with the frequency not just the quantity of air travellers.
