Engine startup & taxi sounds & manual safety demo. The first 2 minutes doesn't have any video as my primary focus was to record the sounds & hide my camera at the same time. You know, all that no electronic devices stuff. I was the only person sitting in the back and the f/a's constantly kept walking back and forth past me. If you're looking for high quality video, don't bother with this and voting on how crappy this video is...it's all about the sound:)

One of the nicest of all transatlantic flights nearing its completion after spending 8hrs in the air. Very smooth approach although the pilot seemed to be using a lot of aileron. Touchdown was a little rough. (can't see it from the camera though) Pilot was using a lot of rudder on the runway to keep the plane straight. Sorry about the clip cutting short, I ran out of memory.

Aboard KL652 with service to Amsterdam (duh), flight time 7hrs 05min (+ 25min taxi to the gate in Amsterdam). Pretty long and boring takeoff roll. I hate the 767, especially on transatlanic flights. Notice the condensation coming over the wing. Aircraft registration PH-BZK.

Takeoff from Amsterdam aboard Northwest flight 47 to Detroit. Flight time short 8hrs15min. So far the best transatlantic flight I've had, mainly due to the AVOD system on board, and the short immigration lines at Detroit upon arrival. We landed approximately 7pm. right when the sun was setting. Aircraft registration N803NW.

Approach and landing in Amsterdam. The captain advised us that we had moderate winds in AMS, but the landing turned out to be pretty smooth. The descent was a whole different story though...You've got to love turbulence!

You would have to have at least 500watt speakers on full volume to even come close to the noise level in the back of this 1968-made DC-9-41. Nonetheless one of the nicest flights I've been on. Gotta love the P&W JTD engines. Includes engine start-up, powerback, takeoff, and landing clips. Note I put more effort into capturing the engine sounds than making good quality clips...so dont mind the occasional flashes of the seat in front of me and my pants;)

Rather long takeoff roll for this half-empty A319 on a 2hr flight to Frankfurt on this cool spring morning. In fact it is just as long as the takeoff roll on my next flight, FRA-DFW on American B777 (no video sorry!).
