An afternoon at Manchester- after the sun went in as AP-BFX took off, I was thrilled to get another chance at a PIA 747 special scheme when AP-BAK came out! Both takeoff shots included, plus some other shots from the day that I liked, including a Jet 737 that aborted takeoff for an unknown reason.

(S2-ACS) I hope you like this one. Viewed from Ringway Road my favourite jet flies over, delighting the 20-or-so spectators who were watching arrivals with me. Then, 1hr 15 mins later she fogs up her engines, powers down 24L and roars overhead. What a beautiful and elegant airliner the DC-10 is!
