(TF-LIF) This is the Iceland coast guard. This is one of two Super Puma helicopters in operation. I took a practice flight with them in 2006. I had a lot of fun as I was pulled up into the Puma.

The video starts looking at Mount Hood on a very hot hazy day while waiting for takeoff clearance. Mt. Hood is a snow-covered peak that rises 11,249 feet (3,429 m) and is home to twelve glaciers. It is the highest mountain in Oregon and the fourth highest in the Cascade Range. It is located about 50 miles (80 km) east-southeast of Portland.
After takeoff from KPDX 28L, you can see runway 3 and then Portland. At the end of the video, you can see Swan Island and the Willamette River. Swan Island was the site of Portland's first airport, Swan Island Airport, dedicated by Charles Lindbergh in 1927 and it operated until the early 1940s when the island was converted to naval shipbuilding use for World War II. Swan Island is now an industrial area.

Landing the Diamond Katana on Groningen Airport Eelde, RWY 19, after a flight from the German Island of Norderney (EDWY). Unfortunately the weather was very grey. However the short flight was nice!

(HS-TEB) The beginning of my long journey: DPS-BKK-CPH. Push back (Gate 7), taxi, takeoff RWY 9. Landing before our takeoff is a Qantas 737-800 and behind us is a Transasia A320.
