A bit of a blustery day with some gusts to 15 knots but captured some 08L arrivals. Of note the 2 JAL 747's are different with one arriving at 10:55 AM and the other early afternoon around 1:00 PM.

Hawkair Dash 8-102 engines start, taxi and rolling RWY 15. This particular aircraft was build in 1990 but De Havilland Canada began development of the Dash 8 in the late 1970s in response to what it saw as a considerable market demand for a new generation 30 to 40 seat commuter airliner. Enjoy!

Part 3 of 3. As is standard operating procedure at Heathrow, at 15.00 the runways switched and 27L became the active arrivals runway. This gave me a chance to film jets thundering over the world-famous Myrtle Avenue. Unfortunately the weather took a turn for the worst, and then a fire closed ATC!
