(TF-LIF) This is the Iceland coast guard. This is one of two Super Puma helicopters in operation. I took a practice flight with them in 2006. I had a lot of fun as I was pulled up into the Puma.

(TF-NPK) This is a historic DC-3, C-47 owned by a club in Iceland. It flew commercially from 1946 to 1972 on domestic routes in Iceland. From 1973 it was used to spray fertilizers. In 2006 a group was formed to preserve and fly the DC-3 in Iceland.

(TF-FIR) This is the last flight of a B757 captain who turned 65 the following day and retired. This is Reykjavik airport. The captain, Bjorn Thoroddsen flew airliners for 40 years for Icelandair and Loftleidir. Now (´09) he fly´s a Monsterpitts and is building another one.

(TF-NPK) In a small airshow at a local flight club in Iceland the only airworthy DC-3, in Icelandair colors made a couple of low passes to amaze the crowd. This DC-3 flew for Air Iceland from 1946-1972 and sprayed fertilizers from 1973-2006. Now owned by a group formed to keep it airworthy. "DC-3 friends"
