(HB-JMO) Take-off of flight LX53 in Boston on November 11 on RWY 15R, landing in Zurich Kloten RWY 14 on November 12. Flight time was 6 hours and 25 minutes and took us over a very southerly North Atlantic track to Brest/Bretagne and via Paris to Zurich.

While in vacation in Boston I decided to do some plane spotting at the airport. Its hard to get really close unless you have a boat so I was forced to zoom all the way and with the wind kicking up even the tripod made the camera shake somewhat. But I got some nice video and I was lucky because Boston John was working the tower that day.

(N39728) This was a very choppy landing. You can see full flap deploy, and this wing was hard at work. It was so windy that you can see white waves down below. My window was damaged – it has something that looked like tiny cracks. Seat 18F.

Airtran Airways flight 617 nonstop from Boston, (BOS) to Philadelphia (PHL). The 737 was a 737-700, NG, without winglets. Landing was a little bit rough and takeoff was slightly bumpy; other than that, flight was smooth and on time. Notice how small the packet of pretzels was!
