(N788AS) Alaska Air 64 departs runway 32 at ANC, bound for Juneau via the Anchorage Four departure, giving us a great view of Elmendorf AFB and the Cook Inlet. We were lucky to wait behind a JAL 744F, JA8915, and a brand-new Fedex 777-FS2 N853FE. Also visible are Singapore and Cathay 744Fs on the hot ramp.

(N788AS) Alaska Airlines flight 64 lands on Runway 08 at Juneau via the LDA X RWY 08 approach in the rain, from Anchorage. Note the vapor trail coming off the edge of the starboard outboard flap, as well as the quick right turn after the Coughlin Island NDB marker.

Before we left to go back to Denver, my fiance let me get these shots for all to see. Most videos of ANC show small planes. These were one after the other. What a beautiful site to see these big birds from at this airport. Dedicated to my fiance! Thanks for watching.

For most of the world, this would be a night landing. But in Alaska this is dusk at 1045PM. Great shot of the Cook Inlet, and listen to the small mistake from the crew caught on tape after landing! Gotta' love Frontier for keeping a sense of humor! Check out my other videos as well. Enjoy!

Aircraft Reg: N764AS. Take off from ANC and diversion back to ANC with electrical problem. Flight was routing ANC-CDV-YAK-JNU and we arrived in JNU 8 hours after first leaving ANC after problem happened again at CDV! Many thanks to the crew for maintaining their humour throughout, they were excellent. Taken from seat 22A
