(N787ZA) The 787 departed also in the dark. At hangar 11 was placed a 747 to block the view of spotters. Endly he started to taxi via the north side of Schiphol. Hundreds of spotters were waiting at the Polderbaan where he should go airborne. A beautiful plane and a fantastic sound. I stood at the head of 36L

A new compilation at Schiphol Amsterdam Airport. Filmed at runway 36L and 06. There was also a remarkable aborted takeoff with a KLM MD11. He was cleared for takeoff. And 4 minutes later he went back,went in the lineup again and departed!

(PH-KCG) See how a normal departure from the gate in Schiphol is performed! This KLM MD-11 is seen being loaded with cargo, pushed from the gate, starting engines, rolling to runway 24 and do its take-off roll. Notice the 'problem' at 1min:10sec. I hope the MD-11 will be flying for many years on! Thanks
