(Taxi Only): My Travel DC10-30(G-BYDA)arriving at La Romana, Dominican Republic as flight MYT056 to take me to Jamaica,then back home to Manchester. During the short hop to Jamaica, the aircraft developed a hydaulic fault. The captain did an excellent job in landing the aircraft safely. My Travel had to put all 350 passengers in to a hotel for 48 hours. The DC10-30 took over 7 days to repair and a My Travel A330-243 was sent to take us back to Manchester. This aircraft has now been retired from the My Travel fleet, the last DC10 in commercial service by a UK airline. The aircraft is in storage at Manchester awaiting a buyer.
