(G-BNLX) BA214 from Boston lands 27R at Heathrow, 45 minutes late due to a delay at BOS and Heathrow's complex spiral-down holding pattern. This afforded spectacularly close air-to-air views of circling traffic, as well as a great view of downtown London. Also note our contrail in the beginning. Enjoy in HD.

(PH-BFP) KLM Flight 892 CTU - AMS at 11-05-2011. Landed at runway 18C at 18.43 hrs. Quote Captain; I took the take-off at Amsterdam and the landing in Chengdu. The co-pilot had the return flight as Pilot Flying and should have made the landing in Amsterdam. However knowing "Bokito" would try to make a film, he gave me the honour. At first the landing was planned on RW36R , later RW27 and eventually we got a D-ATIS message stating RW18R or 18C. One hour before landing we contacted SPL app and made a deal about the Runway. With a Satcom telephone to Ralph's mobile we were able to direct him to 18C. Landing conditions: 270/14, Cavok, 18°C. Landing Flaps 25, and Idle Reverse after landing due Noise Abatement regulations at SPL. Thanks Ralph. Erwin (Cpt)

(PH-BFD) Takeoff at runway 36L , Amsterdam Airport. The captain,my friend,took the takeoff to Chengdu. With another two flights to go,after this one,this should be his last visit at Chengdu. At least as KLM captain. The flightplan had runway 36C for departure. But after changing it the captain gladly directed me to runway 36L. Otherwise I should have missed his takeoff. I had really to hurry by reaching the runway. The captain almost reached the runway. So I could videograph one of his last departures at Amsterdam Airport. I would'nt have missed it.

(PH-BFT) After waiting about 5 hours in the snow and cold and three times of de-icing the captain departed at runway 27. By his takeoff clearance. How wonderful. He greets me by the ATC with the tower. Listen good and one of my nicknames is Bokito.
