(PH-MCU) A beautiful aircraft with an appropriate color scheme. This MD-11F is transporting Ecuadorian roses only to Europe a few days before Valentine's Day. Notice the soaked runway and how the aircraft literally disappears behind a water curtain before rotation and the condensation on the wings afterwards.

(PH-MCW) What a nice approach and landing for this Martinair Cargo MD-11F. Pouring rain on final made the aircraft visible just a few moments prior to touchdown. Notice the condensation on top of the wings on short final. Sorry about city traffic noise but it is nearly impossible to avoid it in Quito.
