Our captain welcomed everyone on the stairs, which was really nice. You can see the engine start, taxiing, and KLM's B744 preparing for takeoff behind us. We were packed so the roll was long and fast, but a bumpy pass through clouds was real fun. I was close to the engine, but it wasn't too loud.
